I always liked the Marx E-7 A & B unit diesels. It was a very good model with a

lot of the correct details of the real loco. Wish they had made a better

motor and more weight for better traction. And they should have been

painted for a few more Railroads.

I started painting these in 1975, the first was a B&O A-B set

with 4 passenger cars then the rest.

Now if I was in the Marx paint shop back in the 50's, I would have painted some like these.

Atlantic Coast Line A & B

B&O Capitol limited Passenger set New York Central

with Lightning stripes

Santa Fe A&B units in full warbonnet scheme

The Missouri Pacific in the Eagle scheme makes a sharp looking E7A unit

I also liked the WABASH

I was into flyer for a while and always liked the Silver Flash and the Rocket, so I did

one for those schemes too.
